Veteran Helping Veterans in California

Veteran Helping Veterans in California - My name is Steve Alender, I am a veteran and Mortgage Professional.  After serving in the Army right out of high school with 8th Infantry, at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lee Barracks in Mainze, Germany, I found myself unsure of a career path and ultimately found myself in the mortgage industry in 1989.  Since then I have been a Veteran Helping Veterans in California every since.

Veteran Helping Veterans in California- Every day I hear about veterans getting taken advantage of by unscrupulous loan officers and companies looking to make a quick buck and at the veterans expense.  Nothing chaps my hide more than when I see this.  As a Disabled Veteran, I understand the sacrifices our veterans have made and are making each and every day.  And unless you have walk the road march in those boots, it is hard to express the true love for this country and your fellow veterans.  I do what I do because this is about taking care of those who took care of us or are taking care of us.  I learned early in my career and through my time in the Army that if you do the right thing and you do it with passion, the rest will take care of itself.

A Mortgage can be tricky especially in the current economic times and conditions.  After 23 years in the mortgage industry there is nothing better than a Veteran Helping Veterans in California.  It is important when talking with veterans you really understand what their current needs are today and to ask what their short and long term goals are as well.  Don't let someone talk you into a 3/1 or 5/1 ARM to get the lowest  monthly payment if you plan on being in the home for 3-5 years, it rarely works out that way.  These companies will show you that the current indexes are low and when you add the margin to it after 3 years, your payments could be even lower.  Reality check!!!!  What they will not show you is the historical average of the index over the last 30 years.  If you go back 30 years, you will see the index plus the margin averages almost 7- 8%.  Can you handle your payment at 7-8%? Or should you be looking at a 30 year fixed while rates are at 60 year lows?

Veteran Helping Veterans in California - You have to work with someone that doesn't just quote you the lowest payment, you have to evaluate many aspects to determine the best option for you.  My offer is simple, whether you are looking to buy a new home, refinance your current mortgage and even if you started with the process with another company, give me 20 minutes of your time and I truly believe you will see a difference when working with a Veteran Helping Veterans in California.
