When a pendulum swings one way, it must swing back the other direction. We went from lending that was so lenient that some folks were able to get into homeownership without understandingor ever having demonstrated that they could handle the financial consequences and responsibilities. Then the bubble burst....
And we swung the opposite direction...For a while now, lending has been nearly frozen and lending qualifications have been extremely difficult to meet. The result has been a stagnated real estate market. Homes are available, interest rates have been dropping to amazing lows, and buyers want in...but the lending has held up the process.
Finally! We are beginning to see a swing back to the middle!
NOW is the time!!! Interest rates are rediculously low, people who are in financial distress need to sell and rates are at all-time lows. The questions now is -- how long will the rates stay down? Economists are predicting that we will see a rapid rise in pricing in all markets due to rising inflation.
THIS is the time to BUY! It's a perfect storm of low rates, low prices and weakening restrictions for qualification. If you've considered making a home purchase, contact me and let's get this thing rolling!
