- We use less then one ream of laser paper per year.
- No business cards for employees.
- No paper marketing material is generated.
- Company policy to never print emails.
- Company does not allow memos... Instant Messaging must be used.
- No payroll checks generated, all electronic and direct deposit required.
- No payroll forms filed with government agencies, all electronic filing.
- All billing is electronic, no paper invoices are generated.
- Employees live close and bike to work when weather permits.
- We buy all materials as local as possible.
- Printer inks are eco-friendly plant based no VOC inks.
- All computers have LCD monitors for reduced air-conditioning requirements.
- Computers are turned off nightly using power strips after shut-down.
- Power save mode on all equipment is set to minimum time slice.
- All appliances and computers are Energy-Star compliant.
- Signs are made from recyclable PVC material (currently evaluating better materials).
- We ship USPS, which doesn't require a special trip that consumes fuel.
- Everything in the office that can be recycled is recycled.
- All lighting is florensent and turned off whenever possible.
- Employees are required to use personal coffee mugs & water containers = disposables not allowed.
- We remove ourselves from all mailing lists and catalog mailings.
- We buy products made from recycled materials whenever the option is available.
